Deep Fried Frog Legs
Ingredients:
6 pairs of frog legs, cut into 2 legs
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs minced ginger
1 tbs fresh ground pepper
pinch of salt
Mix all of the ingredients together and marinate for 1 hour or overnight. Drain the excess liquid from the legs. Frog legs absorb a lot of water so it's best to let it sit and drain for a bit. This way they won't explode when you fry them.
Heat up oil in a wok. I usually put a little bit of flour on the frog legs to prevent it from spattering too much. Deep fry the legs until they are a crispy golden brown.
Serve as an appetizer with some asian pickled veggies.
